I know you might be aware of the SMART goals concept
Which stands for

- Measurable
- Achievable
- Realistic
- Timebound
What you should know is that goals are just stages or Specific point.
But what will make you reach your goals are the routines and the systems you have put in place to attain those goals,
How To Set Goals The Right Way
Let’s say you want to make a million naira in six months
To reach a million you need to start from N100, N1000, N5000, N10000, N20000, N100000, N200000, N400000,…
To a million naira.
Do The Math
For Instance if your goal is to make a million in a year.
- Divide a million by twelve i.e The number of months in a year
- Then Divide whatever you get by four i.e The number of weeks in a month
- Then Divide the number by seven i.e The number of days in a week
Now at every particular day, week and month you will have a breakdown of the ammount you need to earn inorder to make a million.
Every point on the scale are milestones
That takes you to the goal
What you do every day, all the time is what get you close to the milestone.
Through these systems and routines, you get to the goal every day
Routines are simply your daily habits
What do you do in the morning?
How do you structure your day?
These are what will move you towards your milestones
Milestones move you closer to the goal.
Therefore it is important as you set goals you understand systems as well
Focusing on your daily systems and routine will give you the goals that you desire.
