Don’t Be Andrés

While I was struggling with a headache last week
The only thing I could do to feel relief 
Was to do something for leisure 
I couldn’t do anything aside from that
Else my body just kept reacting whenever I was doing something productive
When I find myself experiencing this 
What I used for relieving  myself was to watch a 2021 animated movie produced by SONY Pictures 

Titled “Vivo”

THE VIVO MOVIE

It was very interesting


The main character Vivo which the movie was titled after was a “Kinkajou” pet (it looked like a monkey)

 


Whose owner was Andrés Hernandez

They both played music together in a Plaza


Until Andrés received a letter from his long time friend Marta Sandoval


Indicating that she was retiring from her music career 


And would be hosting her last performance in Florida


After 60 years Andrés is finally going to tell Marta how he feels about her 


Through a song, he wrote just for her


What!


Well “Vivo” was not happy with Andrés’s decision of going to Florida


The monkey looking creature was happy with where they stayed in Havana


But 


A shocking thing happened


In the earliest morning the next day


Vivo woke up and found Andrés dead


Oops! What a tragedy


Therefore, the entire story of the movie was about Vivo’s trip to Florida to deliver 


The music to Andrés Beloved (Marta)


This movie was very interesting 


But the lesson I learned from it was great


𝘐𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘢𝘤𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘈𝘯𝘥𝘳𝘦́𝘴 𝘸𝘢𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘧𝘰𝘳 60 𝘺𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘨𝘰𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘢𝘺 𝘵𝘰 𝘔𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘢 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘩𝘦 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘥 𝘩𝘦𝘳


What a tragedy


According to the story Marta also had feelings for him but 


We all know it’s not the woman’s job to do the wooing 


So can you imagine 


Both of them were singing partners for years, yet 


He never said what was in his heart until she left him to pursue her music career properly


And he continued to struggle in poverty 


While she (Marta) became an international artist

THE BIG TAKE AWAY

That’s what happens to you and I sometimes


When we are always afraid of saying how we feel


Or doing what is right most of the times


Just because we get crippled by a demon called FEAR


Once you are under this demon’s layer


He would use you 


Mop the floor with you and later dump you


Whenever you are waiting on taking action on anything you are simply 


Giving Mr. D of Fear the power over you 


And this would always hold you because the only way to get lost from his trap is by Taking Massive Action


I can’t imagine how Andrés lived for 60 years without getting the balls to call Marta 


Or even express his heart to her


And when it all seems as though it was about to click for them 


Mr. Death just came and swayed him away


What is that thing you are delaying on doing today?


What is that job you are afraid of applying for?


What is that job you are holding on to that you can’t quit to start getting things straight?


I am urging you to 𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗔𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗲𝘀


Be a conquer of fear and you shall surely succeed
